Who we are

Transformational Leadership Collaborative, Inc. doing business as TLC, Inc., is a non-profit business owned and run by TLC, Inc providing training and consultation content both free and paid.

We are fully committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of each and every visitor to this website. Please rest assured that the information you share with us will never be sold, rented or traded with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.

 

This privacy policy exists to provide you with detailed information regarding when and why your personal information is collected, how it is used, the limited conditions under which it may be disclosed to others and how it is kept secure.

 

Types of data we collect

Cookie (known as an internet or web cookie) is the term given to describe a type of message that is given to a web browser by a web server.

 

The main purpose of a cookie is to identify users and possibly prepare customised web pages or to save site login information for you.

 

Whenever you enter a website using cookies you may be asked to complete a form providing personal information such as your name, email, address etc.  This information is then packaged into a ‘cookie’ and sent to your web browser, which then stores the information for later use. The next time you visit the same website, your browser will send your cookie (i.e. your information) to the web server.

 

This allows the web server to use this information to provide you with customised web pages.  So for example, instead of getting a generic welcome page, you may see your name included.

 

Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process for our regular newsletters and email communications, we collect personal information. We use this information to share links to our blog, podcasts and also to tell you about products and services we are offering that we feel may be of interest to you.  We don’t rent or trade email address with other organisations and businesses for any reason.

 

We use a third-party provider called MailChimp to deliver our emails to you.  We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technology to help us monitor and improve the content we are sharing with you.  For more information please see the privacy notice from Mail Chimp here.

 

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing info@tlcamerica.org

 

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold on file for you. Please email your request to info@tlcamerica.com and we will be happy to help.

 

Changes to this privacy notice

This privacy policy will be reviewed from time to time and as such you will be notified and invited to re-read it and familiarise yourself with any amendments.  This current policy was last reviewed in February 2022
